Defra user researchers use a range of tools. The list of tools and guidance on how to access and use them are listed below.
Use Defra-approved tools for your research
Approved tools meet Defra's security standards, protect participant data, and support consistent ways of working. Using unapproved tools risks data breaches, may breach Defra policy, and can delay delivery while the tool is reviewed.
When using an approved tool, check that the tool is suitable for the data you plan to collect before you start your research. Not all approved tools can collect or store identifiable data – this is outlined in the documents below.
