A panel scores every request against 8 criteria. The criteria answer 4 questions:
- Is the problem worth solving?
- Is it ready to build on?
- Is AI the right answer?
- Will it help anyone else?

The Rural Payments Agency publishes payment rules that run to hundreds of pages and change through the year. We are rebuilding one area first.

Two people at Defra Finance spend most of their time checking claims by hand, before the money goes out. AI could narrow that down.

Finding content that needs fixing
The Defra content team has no clear view of which pages are out of date, which links have broken, or where wording has drifted.
